    1. Thanks, Alicia. We saw a buck yesterday, galloping across a paddock. He was magnificent. Massive antlers. But while we are here, at least they’ve stayed away from the home paddock. The roses are growing back, but who knows when they will come back.

    2. I now all about that , we own a small farm in tolmie (cows) kangaroos ,deer’s, rabbits,wombats etc.and 100 roses approx in my garden. 😀

  2. All that destruction would make me mad enough to take destructive action. That aside, the deer are a real problem. They are an introduced species, so we should control them. This environment suits them – especially Mediterranean gardens. There are professional hunters-the biggest problem is carcass removal. Good luck
